7 Day Itinerary in Rimini

Edit This

Rimini is Italy's leading entertainment destination. This upscale beach resort has been around for a long time and features a large number of bars, cafes and swanky beach promenades. There are theme resorts for enthusiastic families and a host of nightclubs for nocturnal party animals. There are also several restaurants where you can spend the evening enjoying a delicious Mediterranean meal. The Rimini itinerary plans a 7 day travel schedule to help visitors enjoy the charm of this coastal Italian hotspot.

Day One: A Wonder Awaits You!

Travel down via Covignano and reach Colle di Covignano, an exquisite haven of lush greenery unbelievably far from the crowds and traffic. This is an ideal place to go to during summers; tourists can cool down on the grass listening to music or take a casual stroll through the surrounding meadows.

Day Two: Exploring Further...

Tourists can then proceed to Ravenna, located a few hours away by car. This little city has a fine reputation for its mosaics and the stunning 8 monuments that are designated as World Heritage Sites. Nearer to the city is the Republic of San Marino. Historians and collectors are fascinated by it, as it makes its own postage stamps.

Day Three: Shopping

There are lots of shops on the beachfront in Rimini targeting, as one would expect, tourists seeking bikinis and bronzing lotions. And the old town, nearby, has active street markets providing anything from fresh food to antiques and offers fantastic opportunities for browsing and ‘window shopping.’ The leading market is along Piazza Cavour on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and an antique market is run on Tuesday evenings in summer in Marino Centro.

Day Four: Clubs

Visit Bologna, a wonderful university city with lots of attractions for people in a spirited mood. The shops are hidden from the sun with a lining of ceilings that give plenty of shade to the shoppers. Rimini is known as the “Las Vegas of Europe”. Enjoy the nightlife in Rimini with a delightful pub crawl. The Carnaby Club is one of the most fun clubs in Rimini.

Day Five: Historical Retreat

Visit the Augustus Arch, a Roman arch that celebrates the glory of the Roman emperor. The Tiberius Bridge offers a splendid view to the visitors. Other attractions are Domus of the Surgeon - a fascinating archaeological area, Castel Sismondo- a magnificent castle and Tempio Malatestiano, an extraordinarily created monument.

Day Six: Shell Museum

This is a treat for tourists who enjoy beachside activities like bathing, fishing and collecting shells on the beach. Rimini's small museum, The Shell Museum, is an interesting one. It boasts of 8,000 beautiful shells and other unique collections.

Day Seven: Fun in Water!

Rimini hosts a 15 km stretch of beach that has a relaxing atmosphere. Mini-cruises and motor boat excursions are offered.

With gorgeous beaches, monuments, splendid sights and a throbbing nightlife, Rimini is quite an attractive destination for people of all ages.
