Comacchio is like a small Venice, just 30 km north of Ravenna. The
town is located in the Valli, a series of lakes and marshes that make
for wonderful walks and bicycle rides.
There are a few canals, there is an old bell tower, and there are some stylish bridges, and a nice cathedral.
Just 5 km from Comacchio you find the Lidi di Comacchio (Lido di Pomposa, Lido degli Scacchi, Lido Estense), a series of seaside resorts with good beaches, hotels and some nightlife, most of it for families.
