Mami Camilla

Mami Camilla is a very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. You can have as much privacy as you like or if you prefer, you can socialize with the family and the other guests. With a quick 3 minute walk you are at the beach where you can enjoy an breathtaking view of the bay. The cooking school offers fantastic evening meals for a very reasonable price. The house wine is very good but only have a local red. The breakfast is always a great way to start the day and mingle with the other guests. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. English is spoken by the staff and they are very accommodating to American tourists. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and always clean. Also from this location it is a nice walk into the heart of town where there is much to see and many fine eating places. We liked the American Club and the view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvio. We used Sorrento as a base to visit Amalfi, Mount Vesuvio, Pompei, Ercolano and Naples. The 7 day visit was far too short. Would love to re-visit and stay for at least a month. So much to see and do.
