Visa Requirements

If you are a U. S. citizen and a holder of a U.S. passport valid for more than 6 months, then you are free to travel to Ischia, provided that you will be staying inside Italy for no more than 90 days. However, if you are going to stay for more than the 90-day specified period, then you need to apply for a tourist visa.

For other nationalities, especially for citizens with a Schengen Visa which is a visa valid for 24 European countries, do not need to get an Italian visa. Holders of a Schengen visa are entitled to a maximum stay inside Ischia or Italy for a maximum of 90 days.
