Citara
Citara Beach is one of the most
popular water fronts in Ischia. Located in Epomeo in Ischia, this beach
attracts a large number of beach lovers. The beach is blessed with
thermal water spots spread across the body of water. You can take a dip
in its clear waters and enjoy the subtle waves and the cool breeze. The
majority of the beach area is owned privately and, hence, has an entry
fee. But there are also public beach fronts available for visitors who
do not wish to pay.
Marina Dei Maronti
This is the
largest beach in the whole of Ischia. The drive to this beach offers
beautiful views and several vista points. The road from Barano descends
toward the beach and makes for a fun ride. There are several water taxis
available to this beach. This three-km-long emerald beach is a great
place for the entire family. It is not very crowded and makes for a
peaceful and fun outing. This beach is a natural spa and has several
thermal springs.
Sppiaggia Inglesi
If you wish to
spend some quality time with your loved ones head to this beach in
Ischia. Among all the beaches in Ischia this one is the least crowded.
The tranquil waters in the beach make for a great swim. Your kids can
enjoy the sand and the water without worrying about getting lost in the
crowd. It is not a very large beach, but serves the purpose and makes
for a great backdrop to spread out a picnic.
Bagnitiello
This is a fairly commercial beach in
Ischia. You will find locals and tourists enjoying the sun and the sand
at this beach. There are several stalls selling knickknacks, local
artifacts and shell jewelry. The beach provides bathing establishments
and changing rooms. This sandy beach offers visitors a great atmosphere
to enjoy the energy-packed environment.
Fumarole
Fumarole is considered to be the cleanest and most pristine beach in Ischia. The water has a darker color due to the volcanic origin. Head out from Saint Angelo and reach the beach in 30 minutes. The beach is equipped with grills and picnic stations which visitors can use free of cost to cook.
