Eating Out in Mayfield

The only restaurant in Mayfield is a slightly more upmarket
affair. The Barn, situated between Galnmire and Mayfield, serves
a selection of gourmet a la carte meals for prices of €30+. The
nettle soup is excellent as is the steak, but the atmosphere can be a
bit stuffy.
For more 'traditional' North Cork eats, try Looneys' chipper, just off
the Old Youghal Road, or take in a toasted sandwich in the newly
renovated Cotton Ball pub. Donatellos also do excellent (if a tad
pricey) pizza and baguettes.
