An old Church, spectacularly renovated, on the left banks of the River Shannon in the heart of Athlone. Open 7 nights a week from 5.30 p.m. onwards. Also open for Sunday lunch. There is a fine choice of menu to suit every ones taste, ranging from a 5 course dinner menu to a large and extensive Á La Carte menu. A very large and varied wine list is available ranging from 1968 to 1996 and whether it is French, German, Spanish, Italian, New World or Champagne, Le Chateau will provide it at affordable prices.
