The island has one hotel and a number of B&Bs. There is no official serviced site for camping but there is a field near the pier where people sometimes pitch a tent. The lack of services means that this is not the most desirable way of spending the night and you can be quite assured that there is adequete accomodation in local homes at affordable prices.

To the left there is an updated version of the island's logo, the three men under a currach (fishing boat) is the official logo of the islands and you will see it on quite a number of places open to tourists.

"Ard Aláinn" bed and breakfast is located in the west village of Inis Meáin, the middle Island of the three Aran Islands. The bed and breakfast is owned by Sean and Maura Faherty. Situated on the west coast of the Island and perched high up on a hill, the bed and beakfast has an excellent view over the Island and the neighboring Island"Inishmore". It is only a few hundred yards walk to the famous "Synge's chair" which is a secluded place along the west cliffs which enjoys a fabulous view of the sea and views of the Connermara coast. Cost for one nights stay is €35 per more..

A small ten bedroom hotel set on the limestone pavement on the north of the island. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the airport so it is easy to find. The fact that it can be seen quite clearly from the arrival points to the island means that you will have no bother finding this place.
