Hamburgers, fries, steaks( lamb, beef ), fish (pan or deepfried), subs, pitas, sandwhiches, thai or home made Icelandic food during lunch time and many more foods.

Brautarstöðin is a combination of a fast food restaurant, ice cream shop and the typical Icelandic ,,sjoppa" (candy store).  The fast food is fast and rather good and the price is also rather good.  The atmosphere is brilliant, lots of magasines and newspapers, plastic bugs on the walls, nice pictures of trains everywhere (Brautarstöðin means in english; The Train Station), and usually there is a movie, TV show or something to remember in the TV, and in the nighttime the News are always on.  This is a rather busy place during lunch and dinner time and it seems that this is a small community of its own, everybody talks to everybody and the staff knows what the usual customers wants and the owners (Icelandic man and his wife from Thailand), are there all the time.  The ice cream shop is just like a sample of one but the ice cream tastes great.  The sjoppa has good variety and good prices.

A fast food restaurant well worth the visit.
