A beautiful lake in Iceland. Volcanic activity takes place here. The name means Midge Lake. There are a lot of species of duck- 15 in all.
The volcano Krafla is nearby. As are sulfuric mountains with boiling mud and steam vents. Iceland is powered primarily from geothermal energy. The largest of these plants is one that is next to Krafla. A volcano that is considred active and could go off at any time.
