The town of Visegrad is not too spectacular in itself. The most
interesting thing to be seen is the Visegrad ruins. These consist of
the citadel on top of the mountain, and the largely reconstructed Royal
Palace, Water Bastion and Salamon Tower. From here you can overlook one
of the most beautiful stretches of the Danube.
