Intercity Train

Nyireghhaza is best approached by intercity train from Budapest, hourly from Nyugati via Debrecen or four times a day from Keleti via Miskolc. Travel time is about three hours, comfort levels are pretty good (very good for Hungarian Railways) but Accommodation when you get there can be a bit of a problem as the hotels are rather posh and expensive for the independent traveller and the town is very much off the beaten track for western visitors.
