Kalamaki is on the southern side of zakinthos. It is a laid back resort compared to its neighbor Laganas. It is beside the airport and therefore may be subject to some aircraft noise. The resort is backed with lovely olive groves and mountains. The beach is the main attraction in this family resort and even though Zakintos is in a tourism boom, Kalamaki has still kept its charm.
