A resort has grown up along the stunning beach.

The majority of the restaurants, bars and shops are located on the main road that runs just behind the beach.The beach at ALYKES is very long

and sandy with very shallow waters, this makes it perfect for families. It also has two water sports centre's from the beach

where you can jet ski, water ski hire a pedalo or have a go on the ringos or banana boat.

There is also a speed boat that takes

trips to the blue caves from the beach. The resort of ALYKES is named after the salt lakes which were in use until 1985. There is a beautiful stone bridge that crosses the "river" Skourtis.
