If you are visiting Gibraltar, when to go is probably what you need to decide. Gibraltar is a British territory and is located in the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula. In the past it housed the British navy and the economy of Gibraltar was largely driven by it. Summer is normally hot and humid and the temperature rises to 30 degree C.
Best Time
As a general rule, the best time to visit Gibraltar is in the months between April and October. However, summer sets in by June and lasts until August. The heat is not unbearable during this time, and Gibraltar does witness a flow of tourists during this period. You can walk on the famous rocks and enjoy the views during this season. Also the Barbary Macaques breed of monkeys come out to play on the rocks and keep the visitors entertained. But if you are not fond of summers, especially the humidity, then you might want to consider traveling to Gibraltar during winter.
