Bristol Hotel Gibraltar

The Bristol hotel is centrally situated very close to the Gibraltar Museum and Tourist Information Centre. The 60 bedrooms have double glazing and all are air conditioned and centrally heated.  However the rooms have not been updated for at least 25 years and it shows, with peeling wallpaper and gruuby carpets. The rooms in the Bristol hotel have colour televisions receiving satellite, a bedside radio and telephone, as well as mini-fridge and hairdryers. Many enjoy a splendid view of the Bay of Gibraltar. There is a spacious public lounge and two lifts. The breakfast room for continental breakfast overlooks the hotel's attractive walled garden and swimming pool. The sub-tropical vegetation provides plenty of shade from the sun, and sunbathing by the swimming pool, with drinks served by the barman, is a real luxury.
