Trier's pedestrian (and shopping) zone, beginning at the Porta Nigra and extending far beyond Main Market, offers a wide range of department stores, speciality and souvenir shops. Coins, including Roman coins - many found in the Trier area - are available not only in antique shops but also at Sparkasse Trier, Simeonstrasse, and the Tourist Information. Other typical Trier gifts/souvenirs can be found in the Craftsman's Court (Kunsthandwerkerhof, Simeonstiftplatz 2, next to the Porta Nigra).
