Wuppertal is located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany , on the Wupper River , south of the Ruhr area. The first thing you notice in this city is the green belt containing woods, meadows, gardens and fields spreading all around you. One of the city’s greatest attractions is the suspended monorail (“Wuppertaler Schwebebahn”), which was established in 1901. The monorail has rails that are 8 m over each of the streets and 12 m above the Wupper River . The Concert hall, the Wuppertal Dance Theatre and the Engels house are only few main sights one ought to visit when staying in this city.
