Mecki´s

The name of the bar is the owner's name. Mecki, plainly and simply Mecki. And Mecki has been in charge of his "cave" for fifteen years by now and he takes care that no modern stuff like techno finds its way to Mecki's. His guests appreciate that - they want it all to stay the same: the patina on the walls, the dark corners, sparsely lit with candles and of course Agathe the display dummy, haging from the ceiling.

Mecki likes jazz. And live jazz is best. So it's not surprising that there are more or less well known jazz musicians at Mecki's every night, on the stage or just as guests. The opening hours care for the night owls. From 9 o'clock at night well into the hours of the early morning you can enjoy yourself here with a well-draught beer or a cocktail from the large selection of drinks. And when the atmophere is really getting exciting, it can happen that Mecki himself reaches for the microphone and impresses his guests with a live performance.
