Casablanca

This small bar has been the meeting point of the "usual suspects" for twenty years by now. Three generations of the in-people of the city celebrate themselves in the smallest disco in Germany. On 65 square metres they meet in different parts. In the front part together with Bodo, the patron, you find the well-off fifty-year olds, at the bar the thirties and on the dance floor the twenty-year-olds dancing to the charts and black music. Twenty years of business has left traces, though nothing much has changed.

Once a year the walls are being repainted, the mirrors wiped and new pictures put on the walls. The accessories are Bodo's job. He decorates his bar with a lot of loving care, especially for the motto parties like the building site party or at Christmas. By the way: Most renowned are the afternoon parties on Christmas Eve on the pavement in front of the bar where everybody meets to drink to each other to celebrate Christmas.
