Edit ThisFrankfurt is a beautiful city with a rich history and plenty to see and do. If you're pressed for time, however, it can be difficult to choose exactly which sights are most worth the time. Here are 5 things you must do in Frankfurt, and if you're lucky you'll have the time to explore even more of this great city.
The Romer
The heart of Frankfurt is the Romer, an incredibly beautiful city center. Located within the Romer is the City Hall which has been the seat of the city since 1405. In the area are also several other halls that have been constructed and used since the 15th century and an incredible Gothic church.

St Paul's Church
This amazing building is actually located in the Romer as well, but it's worth an extra mention and a slot of its own. Built between 1789 and 1833, the church became the seat of Parliament in 1848. It has been known as the birthplace of German democracy because it was often used for political demonstrations and meetings. Today it is used for various exhibitions and special events.

Stadel Museum
The Stadel is definitely a museum that should be on your must-see list. It showcases artwork from the 16th century onward and contains some fantastic works. It is arguably the best art museum in Germany. Even more ideal is its location on what is known as the Museum Embankment, so you can easily stop in at some of the other museums on the block, including the German Film Museum.
