Frankfurt has a wide choice of hotels and pensions. Most of these rank on a higher quality (and price) level, because of the great amount of business guests, especially during the fair times - then you should make a reservation in advance. If you do not have that much money to spend, you can choose one of the sleep cheap options such as a youth hostel or a cheap bed & breakfast pension. Prices are up to 100 DM for a double and 80 DM for a single room. Mid Range starts from about 80 DM for a single room and 100 for a double room.

There are many Frankfurt hotels to choose from as Frankfurt is an important city in Germany with an international airport. Frankfurt is the transportation and financial center of the country and is one of the largest financial centers in Europe. The airport is one of the busiest in the world. The train station in town is also one of the busiest in the world. Value for Money

A great value-for-money hotel is the Golden Leaf. The price is excellent at about $125 per night and while it is not the fanciest of hotels it is comfortable, clean and easy to get to as it is a short 5-minute walk from the Ostbahnhof (train) station. It is located just at the edge of the industrial area. Each room also has a small kitchen.

A pricier option but worth the money is the Moevenpickhotel. This hotel has 4 stars and costs about $240 a night. During the off-season the prices are deeply discounted and the hotel offers many promotions. The rooms are modern and comfortable and you can ensure you get everything you need without any fuss. The staff is great and this hotel is a great choice for business travelers or those looking to see a bit of the city.

Traveler’s Choice

A huge favorite that has won several travelers choice awards is the Pure. This is a modern and contemporary hotel that is a perfect spot if you are going to a trade fair. Upon arrival you can expect to receive a glass of champagne and enjoy a clean and spacious room with a balcony. Visitors rave about the breakfast. Splurge on Luxury

A classic, luxury choice is the Hessischer Hof. This hotel has the ambiance of an old world hotel that combines elegance with modern amenities. An Odd but Fun Option

A fun hotel in the center of town is the Hotel Concorde. It is very convenient to many attractions in town and the interior design is reminiscent of a space ship movie from the 1950s. The rooms are big and clean and the only downfall is that it is close to the red light district so it can be loud at night.
