Top 5 Must Do's in Bremen
Edit ThisYou can get a feel for Bremen just by walking around its beautiful streets and gazing up at the incredible, widely varied architecture. There are endless amounts of cafes, pubs and shops that you can frequent, and museums certainly abound. But if you want to leave Bremen feeling that you´ve gotten a true taste of this amazing city, here are the top five places that you shouldn´t miss.
St. Peter´s Cathedral
Built in the 11th century and systematically altered through to the 19th century, St. Peter´s Cathedral is now an incredible work of art in and of itself. After you´ve marveled at the exterior, you can enter the cathedral and tour its largely unchanged interior. One of the main draws to the church is its possession of a Gottfried Silberman organ, which is on display inside. Also bringing in large amounts of tourists are the cellars of the cathedral, which contain eight mummies on display in glass coffins. You can also visit the museum on the church grounds.
