JazzFest Berlin

This festival has been around since 1964, and is quite popular on the jazz scene in Berlin. Every year, there are both newcomers and old musicians featured.

IFA- Internationale Funkausstellung

This event occurs biyearly and is the most prestigious consumer electronics convention in Europe. Recent decades have led to the show being focused on mobile and internet technologies. It is aimed mostly at trade visitors, but the general public is welcome to attend.

Fete de la Musique

This is a European music festival that takes place nearly every night during the summer in 100 different cities in Europe. These concerts have to take place outdoors in extraordinary locations as decided by the organizers of the event. Even so, it is a free event to the public, and the musicians play for free as well. This is not exactly a festival, although it is like one huge bazaar. Here you will find over 500 companies from around the world that are eagerly displaying their selection of goods. Even though their primary reason for business here is to make new business contacts and partnerships, individuals are welcome to make purchases as well.
