Remember a scene from your favourite movie. Imagine you have a variety of tools and possibilities to play this scene out in different ways. Let it wash through your body, wander up and down your spine, gurgle it in your throat and spit it out. Try a martial arts scene as a romantic comedy….or vice versa! Then as you discover more about the themes and emotions you could tell the story through dance or mime. Anything is possible. At the beginning of the course you'll choose a dialogue from a movie scene. With the support, guidance and feedback of a trained acting workshop leader as well as your fellow drama course participants you will experiment and work on this piece throughout 11 sessions. Along the way you will learn to develop your acting skills and gain many of the tools of the trade to help bring the script to life. At the 12th workshop you'll present your piece to a small audience - perhaps in a completely different style to what they are expecting!

and all in the English language. We are a relaxed group and are suitable for all experience and levels. (A mixed ability group means that beginners learn from those with more experience whilst experienced actors enjoy working in a non-pressurised environment where they can experiment with new techniques without competition.)
