Opera and Theater in Wurzburg

If you love opera then you should stop in Wurzburg. The city has an annual Mozart festival and the opera house produces operas and even premier operas. Alternative Nightlife

For those looking for the alternative scene check out the AKW, or autonomies kulturzentrum wuerzburg. This is held in an old brewery and you will find a great mix of people, business students, and the older generation looking for some fun and those that can be classified as weekend punks. They get some very interesting acts. In the summer there is a beer garden and an outdoor cinema. On Thursdays there are no entrance fees.
