Traunstein is a small city in the very south east of Bavaria. It is named after the river Traun. Traunstein has a very nice little medival town centre. Nightlife: There are several Discos and Clubs (approximatly five or six) to be found in this city. One of them called the "Panzerhalle", this one is built in an old army base.
