Hofbräuhaus
Edit This1589: The Hofbräuhaus was founded by Duke "Wilhelm V." of Bavaria. Until then the courtyard received his beer from Einbeck, a town near Hanover, which was one of the best at that time.
1879: The world-known trademark - HB with crown - was registered in Munich.
1966: The whole building was renovated. The Hofbräuhaus became one of the main attractions of Munich and the most famous beer serving house in the world.
1980: The landlord Michael Sperger and his wife Gerda took over the management of the Hofbräuhaus. Since then they make daily every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their guests.
