The old lighthouse or Mangturm was erected in the 13th century. The name Mangturm originates from the cloth or mangle house, which used to stand next to it.

The old Town Hall was erected between 1422 and 1436 in Gothic style. Later, between 1536 and 1578, it was modified in the style of the Renaissance.
