Die Kiste, Augsburg Puppet Theater museum
Edit This"Die Kiste," the museum of the Augsburg Puppet Theater, is found one floor above the theater in the Heilig-Geist-Spital, a former hospital now preserved as an historical monument. In addition to the display of the well-loved marionettes, the museum also presents the history of the theater.

The Schaezler Palace

The city palace of the banker Liebertvon Liebenhofen with the richly adorned Rococo Banquet Hall was built from 1765 to 1770 and is one of the most impressive private Rococo buildings in Bavaria. Today it houses an important collection of paintings elaborated by masters such as Durer, Holbein, Cranach and others.

Maximilian Museum

The diocesan museum
