Black Forest

The Black Forest is located in southwest Baden-Wurttemberg. This vast expanse of forest is a popular tourist attraction. The leafy canopy shades the numerous hiking trails. Along some of the busier trails there are souvenir and cuckoo clocks being sold. This is a hikers paradise as there is an abundance of hikers trails where you can explore the beautiful scenery. There are skiing facilities and Feldberg offers a good skiing slope. Access to to the forest is possible through Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart and Basel. Trains and buses provide reliable transport to the forest.

Lake Constance

Lake Constance has the magnificent Black Forest and the Alps as its backdrop. The clear water of the lake reflects the surrounding scenery. This is a good place to go to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The area is easily accessible by train. Boats and ferries also offer a good form of transport. Tours are available.

Heidelberg Castle

Heidelberg Castle is located in the town of Heidelberg. A visit to the castle will take you back in time and parts of the castle date back to the 13th century. The intricate architecture and statues contribute to the attraction of the castle.Guided tours are available.
