It’s best to exchange one's money or withdraw it from a cash point in Tbilisi , as there are no cash points in Pankisi. One needs to produce their passport when exchanging money. Prices in Georgia are similar to their counterparts in Eastern Europe . Access to electronic media Mobile phone calls from a foreign phone number are very expensive in Georgia . It is more beneficial to purchase a Georgian call card. The network coverage in the cities is very good; further away from the cities, however, in the High Caucasus in particular, it is rather poor, and is available only at the mountain tops.
