Batumi has many different places to visit. At the beach you can visit Batumi Seaside Boulevard, which is 7km long. From there you can walk to cafes and restaurants or go to beach. There are even special places for cycling. You can also visit several parks, which are located in or near Batumi, such as the Botanical Garden, Mtirala's National Park, and several protected area museums and historical monuments.

Gonio-Apsaros Fortress had a unique strategic importance. It protected the entrances to chorokhi and western inlands to the black sea coast. 6 May Park, named after the day of the revolution in Adjara, is another charm of Batumi. Smekalov, then Governor of the city, came up with the idea in 1881. The park is situated around Nurie Lake. It used to be a swamp, before it was cleaned out and turned into a lake. The territory turned into the first park in Batumi. In 1932, the name of the garden was changed to "culture and Recreation" and into "Children's park in 1933, and later on to "Pioneer's Park". The Batumi Botanical Garden is situated 9km north of Batumi. The area where it is located is called Mtsvane Kontskhi (Green Cape). Batumi Seaside Boulevard

The seaside park is one of the charms of the city. It was established in 1884. Batumi-dwellers called it "Boulevard". It stretches like a green line, along the seashore, to the north-west of Batumi. Its length has grown from its original 1500m to 7000m. Mtirala's national Park The Mtirala national park was developed in 2001. The Mtirala national park is situated on the Kobuleti-Chakvi Ridge in the westernmost part of the Adjara-Imereti Range of the Smaller Caucasus Mountains.
