The museum was established in 1998, it houses paintings of well-known Georgian and foreign artists (Niko Pirosmani, D. Kakabadze, L. Gudiashvili, E. Akhvlediani, S. Bakalovich, A. Zommer, A. Tern, N. Ignatov, A. Zankovski, etc.). Graphic works and sculpture, as well as samples of decorative art (ceramics, woodcut, glasswork, engravings, tapestry). The Museum collection: 500 items

Khariton Akhvlediani Adjara State Museum

The museum was established in 1908, it houses archeological materials of XII-IX cc. B.C.: engraved axes, bronze ram, the Gonio Treasury samples Intaglio with Aphrodite and Eros images, I-II cc. golden engraved phial, golden figurine of discus-thrower, golden pendants with images of Helios and decorative motifs, beads made of various materials, fragments of belts (gold, pasta), brooch, religious bronze sculpture, fragments of truck decorations with images of oak leaves and acorns; ethnographic, folk and applied art samples of the nature (25 billion old fossilized tree). Batumi Archeology Museum

The museum was established in 1988, it houses unique materials from Bronze Age to Medieval times, from archeological excavations throughout Adjara and Batumi (Pichvnari, Namchaduri, Khikhadziri, Kvashta) done by the joint Georgian-British expeditions, as well as samples, discovered by accident. There are unique samples of Georgian and foreign origin coins, bronze vessels, glassware and ceramic, etc. The museum Collection: 22877 items.

Petra-Tsikhisdziri State Museum-Reserve

The Museum-Reserve was established in 1989, it represents the complex of early medieval monument the Petra fortress and its adjoining area. The museum houses archeological materials, excavated in the reserve area and discovered by accident. The chronological frames of the materials are between early antiquities to the early medieval times. Among those materials are: remains of the V c. basilica, architectural details, fragments of mosaic decorations, materials from the Hellenistic period tombs, from VIII-VI cc. BC. Gonio-Apsaros Museum-Reserve

The Museum-Reserve was established in 1994, it represents Gonio-Apsaros fortress and its adjoining area. During the archaeological excavations was unearthed rich material of the Hellenistic period (coin of the Macedonian king Antigona Gonata, III c. B.C. ceramics from Sinop, etc.), public buildings, various kinds of goods: ceramic, bronze, silver, gold, - especially significant is so called Gonio Treasury's unique golden jewelry samples. The museum houses Hellenistic period materials, cooper coins of justinian I, samples and ceramics. Museum Collection: 25360 items
