Eating Out

There are not that many options in Butami, although getting something to eat should never be a problem except before 9 am, as things start late here. Around the market there are number of cheap cafes and you can also, allegedly, eat in the Mosque.

There are a number of good restaurants in Gorki street, accross the street from the Heineken bar, where they serve good Georgian fare and local wines at very reasonable prices.

Chinese Restaurant in Batumi is located in very nice place. Near the sea in the middle of lake, actually on the island, The food is really delicious and the main thing is that you really feel China, because the restaurant itself is build with Chinese style, like Chinese Pagoda. Service is really good, and the prices are fair. At night you can see dancing fountains in the lake. which is very spectacular too. Or after dinner you can take a walk to seafront promenade.

The restaurant of the Intourist is certainly the most impressive of town. It's a very big hall. The service can be a bit slow, bu the food is OK.
