This is the new Paris. Like it or not, it certainly is something special and the view from the New Arch to the old Arc de Triomphe is a fine one. This alone merits the trip with the metro. For 40 FF you can go up the Arche. It's open from 9.00 to 20.00 but they stop selling tickets an hour before closure time.
