Getting There
Edit This
Paris has two international airports: Orly (01-49-75-15-15), 8.5 miles south of Paris, and Charles de Gaulle (01-48-62-22-80), 14 miles northeast of Paris. Orly is Paris's most convenient airport. An Air France shuttle operates between the two Paris airports every 30 minutes. The shuttle ride is roughly 50 to 75 minutes and the cost is 13E ($16 US). The top airlines to Paris include: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, US Airways, Air Canada, Continental Airlines, British Airways, Air France, and Aer Lingus. Visit www.oag.com to access the largest directory of airline websites on the planet!
Once you arrive in Paris, there are dozens of ways to get to and from Paris's two international airports, ranging from rapid-fire shuttle trains to the standard assortment of pokey public buses. Private shuttles and taxis are also plentiful.
For everything you need to know about getting to and from Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports to Paris hotels, and transportation between Paris activities, Paris restaurants, and more, use the RATP website (www.ratp.info) as your Paris travel guide. Here, you can find scheduling information, maps, pricing, and more. The RATP website features five different languages.
