Dinan Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeDinan is a medieval gem with its half-timbered buildings and cobbled streets. With over 50 bars, restaurants and creperies you are sure to find a sunny spot to relax and watch the world go by. There are plenty of small boutiques and shops. The fruit and vegetable market is on Thursday morning and on Wednesday afternoon in July and August a flea market. For the brave, because it's very steep, stroll down the hill to the old port area and visit the local craft workshops along the way. Don't miss out on the medeival "Fete de Remparts" which takes place every two years. Bring a costume for free access and get tickets for the jousting competition where the children can have some fun and the ladies get to "wave their favors" at the knights.
