7 Day Itinerary in Lille

There are many ideas for a Lille 7 day itinerary during which the whole family can have fun. You can visit museums, zoos, or the Grand Palace. 

Day 1-Visiting the Art Museum of Palais 

Admission fees are reduced from $6 dollars to $4 on Mondays for the Art Museum of Palais. The Art museum of Palais is located at Place de Republique. The Art Museum of Palais shows European paintings from the 12th to the 20th century, such as Rubens and Van Dyck pieces.

Day 2-Parc de Zoologique

Tourists should visit The Parc de Zoologique, located at Avenue Mathias Delobel to wind down and have a good time looking at the animals. The Parc de Zoologique is 50 hectares long and has a children's playground on-site. There is also a beautiful water canal embellishing the premises.

Day 3-The Grand Palace

Tourists are advised to take a tour to sight-see at  the majestic Grand Palace, located at Faidherbe rue. On the plaza's center lies Deesse, a statue honoring the fallen in the war against Austrians. The statue is a common meeting place in Lille because of its size and noticeability.

Day 4-visiting Parc du Heron

There are many bike rails and specialized parks in the town center, so cycling is recommended. Parc du Heron, located at 59650 Villeneuve-d'Ascq, also offers sailing and windsurfing.

Day 5-Estaminet Chez La Vielle

Set Friday aside to dine at the Estaminet Chez La Vieille. The Estaminet Chez La Vieille offers tasty Flemish dishes, French food, carbonnade, and ice cold beer at cheap prices. Estaminet Chez La Vieille is located at Rue de Gand #60.

Day 6-La Farafina

Le Farafina at Rue Solferino #165 provides a tropical style ambiance and good music for a Saturday night dine-out. Cocktails are specially nice in this local bar and restaurant.

Day 7- Kineapolis

Tourists are always recommended to go to the Kinepolis, an immense movie theater located at rue Chateau d'lsenghien #1. Seating within the Kinepolis is distributed in stadium form, and the sound quality is said to be remarkable.
