[more accurately in Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azure] It is of course true that the three departments with the highest peaks of all, Haute-Savoie, Savoie and Isère are in Rhone-Alpes. Hwever that leaves Alpes Maritimes, Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence
