Situated in the heart of the Pyrenees Orientales (a department of Languedoc Roussillon), Prades is a small town with a weekly market and all amenities are within walking distance. Nestled in the Têt Valley, set away from the road between Perpignan and Font Romeu. It's a small town with a village feel and has a magnificent church in the centre of the town.

It is an ideal base for a winter or summer holiday, being 50 minutes away from both excellent ski resorts (Les Angles, Font Romeu,..) and the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean (Canet Plage, Argelès-sur-Mer).

It is 50 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches, 40 minutes drive from Perpignan and 50 minutes drive from a choice of 9 ski resorts. There is a public swimming pool in Prades, river swimming a 5 minute drive away, and a large lake with swimming, dinghy sailing and a cafe 15 minutes away.
