Edit ThisThe former Archbishop's Palace was built by Mansart and Robert de Cotte in 1690. Today, it houses the cathedral's museum with tapestries, sculptures and artifacts from the kings' coronations.

Notre-Dame Cathedral
Edit ThisA great piece of Gothic art, the Cathedral was started in 1211. It was the place of coronations for French kings in memory of the baptism of Clovis by Saint Remi, probably on Christmas Day 498. The left portal on the west front carries the famous Smiling Angel statue.

La Pompelle Fort
Edit ThisA fort built by General Séré de Rivière in 1880, it resisted heroically throughout World War I from 1914 to 1918 under German assault waves and bombardments. Today it can be visited and houses large collections of French, Allied and German militaria.
