Burgundy Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeDijon is the capital of Burgundy and the best place to start exploring the region. In the city you will find many monuments that date back to the period when Burgundy was one of the more powerful states in Central Europe.
Beaune is a bit
further to the south and is mostly famous for its hospice. One of the
oldest hospitals in Europe and built in the characteristic style of the
region.
There is also a canal that crosses Burgundy (Canal de Bourgogne)
from the North to the South joining the river Yonne and Saone. This
allows barges and boats to cruise from the English Chanal down to the
South of France.
