The Limousin is right in the heart of France. Located on the western slopes of the Massif Central the region attracts travelers in search of unspoiled countryside.

The Corrèze, Creuse and Haute Vienne are all full of beautiful hills, gorges and lush green meadows. Numerous ancient village churches dot the landscape as well as more imposing abbey churches and fortresses. The Chateau de Val is one of the most beautiful chateux in the area - located just north of Tulle in the Correze.

Limoges in the Haute Vienne is the most important city in the Limousin. Brive la Gaillarde and Tulle are the best starting points for exploring the Correze.
