Queyras Travel Guide

Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see
The Queyras Regional Natural Park is south of Grenoble and Briançon and to the far east of France bordering on Italy. It enjoys a micro-climate of its own and has sun for over 300 days in a year. It is much less frequented and somewhat lower than the better known areas further north in Savoie and Haut-Savoie but it is extremely beautiful with some of the best Alpine flower meadows in France.

Walking up towards Monte Viso [in Italy] from the far east part of the area, you will be unlucky if you don’t see a number of marmots and hear their piercing whistle.
