Edit ThisGrenoble Airport is about 50km from the city. Low cost airlines such as EasyJet and Ryanair both service this airport. Its a very small airport, only open in mornings and afternoons, so don't expect to hang around there for long.
There is a bus service into town, or you can take private taxi for around 70 Euros (or share one - its cheaper), or hire a car from the usual agencies. Expect some delays due to traffic at rush hour. Should take around 35-45 minutes to get into town.
