Chartreuse Travel Guide

The Chartreuse is a regional natural park lying partly in Savoie and partly in Isère. It is very green with forested pre-Alpine hills, rushing streams, cliffs overhanging the narrow roads, and delightful mountain meadows with a plethora of spring flowers.

There is a tourist office in St Pierre d’Entremonts, an attractive little town with a camping municipal near the centre and walks in all directions.
