Restaurant Suomalainen Pohja

This restaurant is located perfectly next to Turku Art Museum and Puolala Park. Excellent staff and good kitchen welcomes you to visit again and again. Restaurant Suomalainen Pohja is named after nearly 90 years old Finnish association, which keeps its club room in the restaurant. In Suomalainen Pohja you can have a lunch or dinner, keep a business meeting, celebrate weddings or birthdays and so one - facilities are truly versatile. Call first before visiting.

Ravintola Rhino

This is an Indian/Nepalese restaurant.They speak English and Finnish. Out of all the restaurants we've been to in town, this is the best our family has been to so far. It's not as visible as the other ethnic food places in town, so you have to look around for it, but it's located right in the center of town. The quality of the food and service is what makes this place special. It's very well priced at 8€ per person, you won't walk away hungry! Anyway, if you have a chance eat out here sometime. If you're just visiting Turku, don't leave without eating here!

Rocca

Rocca's menu is by a very famous Finnish chef, Antti Vahtera. It combines traditional Finnish dishes with Italian, French and Spanish flavours. The wine list (or rather a book) is the best in town. Rocca was rated one of the top restaurants in Finland. Even though the prices are rather high, the restaurant is very busy. Make sure to reserve a table well in advance.

Restaurante Bossa

Excellent Brazilian food in a elegant but also cosy place. Good value for your money. You won't be disapointed with any selection of the menu (fish, meat, vegetarian). Great wines and very friendly service.

For me (a German tourist) and my Finnish friends this is the best place in town (second is Trattoria Romana).

Ristorante Sergio's

Nice traditional and inexpensive Italian restaurant. Excellent pastas and pizzas in a nice area by the river. Also check out their summer terrace.

Via combines dishes from Asia and Italy making an interesting fusion kitchen. This is why Via has become a very popular restaurant in Turku. Atmosphere is trendy, but the prices are reasonable.
