Suomenlinna is a UNESCO world heritage site at the coast of Helsinki. Suomenlinna is an old sea fortress and the biggest of its kind in whole Europe. Suomenlinna is built on four different islands connected by bridges. It was build by the king of Sweden to protect Sweden against Russians. There is a scheduled ferry connection to Suomenlinna from the market square about every 30 minutes per hour daily. A couple of hundred people also live in Suomenlinna.
