Porkeri is a village in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. It is located on the east coast of the island, between Hov and Vágur. The population is around 330. There is a charming old wooden church from 1847 with turfed roof. Near the church there is a local museum. Visitors often visit both the museum and the church.
